Free Online Creative Writing Courses

I remembered the brilliant Iowa University MOOC courses that I did back in 2015 when I was deciding if I wanted to do an MA in Creative Writing. I thought if I can find time for an online course, then I could do it. I loved it and went on to love my in-person MA even more! The MOOC courses are no longer funded but they have archived them all here.

I also loved the Open University free introductory writing courses as well as BBC Radio 4’s The Invisible College, which is a series of 18 writing lessons from famous writers from the past. Here are links to those:
